One Federal Solution is a SBA Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) whose primary mission is to provide the Federal government with outstanding services in the areas of Research Support, Program Management, Information Technology Enterprise Management, Healthcare Administration, and Testing & Evaluation. We are currently looking for Research Assistants to support our customer in several locations across the US - Tripler, Hawaii and Fort Hood, Texas; THIS POSITION IS A PART TIME POSITION working approximately 15 hours per week on a multi-site research project.
Research Assistant shall have the knowledge and ability to effectively apply the following functions:
• Will work at the guidance of the Research Coordinator and the Site Principle Investigator (PI) to abstract data and input information into specific standardized electronic databases.
• Will assist in the daily activities of clinical research studies, collect, maintain and organize study information.
• Assist in preparing grant applications and documents (i.e., Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Office, etc.) and be responsible for quality management of the ongoing program/projects.
• Monitor program/projects and ensure adherence to deadlines as established by the COR and primary investigators for the projects assigned.
• Handle recruitment efforts and administer the assessments and questionnaires.
• Ensure questionnaires are completed and participate in data organization and entry.
• Assist in preparing special reports, institutional review board documents, studies, analysis, and briefing papers on various training and simulation processes.
• Work may encompass but is not limited to conducting information searches, scientific, medical, financial and technical writing; editing; graphics preparation; and report layout and production.
• Assist in the activities related to clinical research studies including but not limited to: answering phone calls, screening participants for eligibility, registering subjects with sponsoring agency.
Records Management:
• May include the acquisition, control and disposal of records, disposal of library and other informational products, items kept for reference purposes and the provision of services to internal and external customers based on information resources.
• Activities may include data administration, and archival.
• Research Assistant will provide a full range of functional expertise to include all activities related to information management with regards to the organization and filing of records related to the ongoing projects.
• Collects and records study data, inputs all information into database and maintains source documents and subject files in accordance with procedures.
• Performs other related duties.
Education/Key Area of Expertise: Associates Degree in Science is desired, with medical and/or science experience desired.
Required experience: Medical Research: 2 years preferably working in a military hospital setting
